I'm making a multiplayer arena boomer shooter for LAN 2026.

Go Jace FPS is a retro 90s-style 2.5D boomer shooter built in Unreal Engine 5, mixing fast first-person combat with Slovenian folklore-inspired medieval horror. Players push through stone corridors, catacombs, collecting health, armor, and ammo while facing demonic enemies with modern firepower.

Under the hood, the game is being built with LAN-ready architecture from day one, including server-authoritative weapons, replicated pickups, enemy AI, and a foundation for future Windows Store and Xbox support.

When the unveiling of the new Microsoft games' console caused so much anger among the now disenfranchised gamers, who felt their needs are not only not being met with their proposed update to the Xbox, but outright ignored, I felt an uncomfortable disagreement with the backlash, that made me feel old; I rather like the new direction the leading game platform is taking.

Ambulance driving in the opposite lane nearly killed me. It might not look that bad in the video, but it was a pretty close call nonetheless.
